Privacy

The owner, as the holder of the domain names http://www.valeriascuteri.com and http://www.valeriascuteri.it, uses the site not only as a means of providing information about their works but also as a tool for collecting personal data. Therefore, as provided by the Privacy Code, the owner, as Data Controller, provides the following information regarding the processing of both the personal data of users who simply browse the sites (navigation data) and those who voluntarily send their data via email and/or by filling out specific forms in order to access reserved sections within the sites.

This information is provided only for the sites, including through its own data processors, and not for other websites that may be accessible by the user via links and/or activities carried out by third parties.

1. Types of data processed

1.1 Navigation data

The computer systems and programs necessary for the operation of the sites record, during their normal operation, certain data, the acquisition of which occurs automatically and inevitably (when using Internet communication protocols) which could, in association with other data, allow the identification of users. Such data may be used solely to obtain statistical information on the use of the sites and to check their correct functioning. Where expressly requested, such data may be used by the Public Authority to ascertain responsibility in the event of computer crimes against the sites and/or third parties, in accordance with the procedures in force at the competent Authorities.

1.2 Data voluntarily provided by individual users

Personal data voluntarily provided by individual users, by sending emails, interacting with the site's features, requesting services offered by the Site, or filling out specific forms to access reserved sections of the sites. In any case, processing will be limited, for both cases considered, to only common data.

2. Methods and purposes of processing

The data will be processed both manually and with the aid of electronic tools for the following purposes: - operational management of navigation on the sites and related access data; - management of data and site security; - market research and statistical processing. Furthermore, with the user's free and optional consent, the Data Controller may process the data for the purpose of defining individual and group profiles (profiling) as well as for marketing purposes, such as communication, via newsletter, email, SMS, of information and/or updates on the activities, products of the Data Controller as well as initiatives or events organized by the Data Controller or in which such subjects will participate, including invitations to such initiatives or events. The user will have the possibility to object at any time to this last purpose of processing and to no longer receive promotional materials and information.

3. Data retention

The personal data collected will be stored and processed through an electronic system managed by Aruba S.p.A.

4. Data communication

The data will be communicated to professionals, independent collaborators, service companies and/or third parties who cooperate with the Data Controller for the achievement of the above purposes.

5. Automatic data collection mechanisms

Session cookies and permanent cookies may be used on the sites. Session cookies are temporary and are automatically deleted each time you leave the sites. "Permanent" cookies, on the other hand, remain on the user's hard drive until they are deleted. Cookies are used to allow full use of the sites and/or to track visits to different pages/sections of the sites. In any case, cookies are not and will not be used to collect personal data or to detect information relating to the user's browsing of other sites. The information collected through cookies will be used for purely statistical purposes. The user may at any time disable the operation of cookies by selecting the appropriate setting on their browser, it being understood that such a decision may prevent the use of some features of the sites or the possibility of interacting with the sites themselves.

6. Data provision

Except for navigation data (collected automatically by the system), the provision of data by the user is necessary to register on the sites and access the services and features offered by the sites and reserved areas. Failure to provide data will make it impossible for the user to access and use these services and features. The provision of data for marketing activities is always free and optional. Failure to provide data for this activity will have no effect on the user's ability to use the services and features offered by the sites.

7. Data subject's rights

The data subject may exercise the rights recognized by art. 7 of the Privacy Code, including, by way of example, the right to obtain a copy of the processed data, their updating, rectification, integration and, where appropriate, deletion and blocking. In particular, the Data Subject may at any time revoke the consent previously given to the sending of promotional and informational materials, including the newsletter.
